The challenge
Explore sculpting through a subject connected to motorsport and the visual beauty of mechanical components.
A passion project combining Carrara marble, steel, welding, CAD, and fabrication into one sculptural interpretation of a turbocharger.

Explore sculpting through a subject connected to motorsport and the visual beauty of mechanical components.
A leftover block of Carrara marble was carved into the turbo housing. The manifolds were welded and painted, while the turbine section was drawn, cut, layered, and welded to create a dimensional, partially transparent view.
The sculpture became an early proof of what can happen when stone, steel, fabrication, and automotive passion are treated as one creative language. It also helped lead to the Lamborghini commission.
Details, experiments and work in progress.
