01

The challenge

Add modern function to a heavy historic object without making the conversion look like a modern insert had simply been placed inside it.

02

The process

A modern electric fireplace was purchased and disassembled. Its flame, log, lighting, and electrical components were then retrofitted into the vintage body using custom brackets and careful placement.

03

The outcome

The original fireplace keeps its character while gaining safe, usable modern function.
